Up this week ... My fellow Southern Belle {that's what we are, right?!} Megan from the oh-so-fabulous Mackey Madness! I'm so excited to have met her thru Blogland! Her blog is definitely a daily read of mine ... She's basically famous after all. And today she's over here posting about her GORGEOUS wedding and reception!

Hey y'all! My name is Megan and I blog over at Mackey Madness. I am so honored that Lauren asked me to come over here today and share a little bit about my wedding! I enjoyed her wedding recap SO much...and I'm excited that she's come up with this new series!

My husband and I were married on October 2, 2010. It was an absolutely beautiful day with just a hint of crisp fall air...and it was lovely. We were surrounded, loved, and supported by our closest friends and family. We had an evening wedding (6 pm) and I loved that I had the whole day to enjoy with my family and my bridesmaids.

Happy Memorial Day! 

In a weekend full of celebrations, it can sometimes be easy to forget what today should be about ... 

Easy to forget the people that this day is all about ... 

So today, I'm saying THANK YOU ... 

thank you to the men and women who have given THEIR lives for MY freedoms ...

thank you to the men and women who continue to do so ... 

THANK YOU to the soldiers who fight for us everyday!

Can you believe that Memorial Day weekend is HERE?!? This year is flying by ... But I am oh-so-ready to WELCOME summer with open arms!

I love the idea of slider bars for a spin on the classic cookout! Everyone can make their own and with the burgers being so small you could even make several different kinds! And of course macaroni salad and potato salad are a MUST at any classic American cookout! And that avocado salad? well you know this gal loves all things avo! :)

Today's the Day! 

We're heading to the beach to spend Memorial Day weekend with some of our best friends ... And lots of family! 

We have lots of fun plans ... kayaking trip, birthday celebration, and lots of EATING! 

As soon as I get that big tree in my backyard to start producing some MOOLAH, I'll be wearing outfits like this for Memorial Day cookouts! :)

Hello Friends!  I'm Natasha from Schue Love.  I am beyond thrilled that Lauren asked me to share my wedding with all of you today!  I've had so much fun watching Lauren's wedding unfold over the last several weeks...I'll do my best to sum up our wedding for you!

My husband and I were married almost two years ago on August 14, 2009.  We got married at the beautiful Edgewood Golf Course in South Lake Tahoe and were honored to have our closest friends and family there.

Our first kiss as husband and wife...we had my childhood minister fly up from Newport Beach to preside over our wedding...it was his last wedding before he retired...so special to us!
